The $66B federal 340B program is supposed to lower Rx prices for working families.

Instead, giant hospitals, drug middlemen (called PBMs) and the big pharmacy chains improperly take $ billions from the program.

Because of their scheme, low income and at-risk patients suffer. Some even die. How can this be?

Join with us to STOP the 340B SCAM and PROTECT healthcare consumers like you!

The Consumer Health Advocacy and Information Network (CHAIN) is jumping into the fray to protect consumers’ health care.

The 340B-Aware campaign focuses on stemming abuse of the country’s second largest prescription drug benefits program. Last year the 340B program involved over $66 billion (!) in discounts on consumer prescriptions. But billions of that money have been siphoned off by the terrifying trio of large hospitals, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and the national pharmacy chains. It’s the most despicable kind of scheme.  Underserved, at-risk and low-income patients are being gouged, and corporate giants are reaping the rewards. Literally dozens of investigative reports chronicle the enormous size and scale of the 340B scam.

Our 340B-Aware campaign will provide information, knowledge and power to consumers to help restore program benefits to those patients who deserve them and protect against further abuse. We will provide information, resources and updates on how we can work together to lower the cost of prescription medications and improve access for millions of Americans.
